Deepshikha Brar

I’m born and raised in Punjab (India) in an educated family. Since from my school years with my studies ,I was very keen in the co-curricular activities ,like music, declamations, poetry and sports etc. My leanings towards poetry and writing brought me into media .I started my first radio in AIR, Bathinda in 1996 after my marriage. In 1999, me and my husband landed in Edmonton and I started my first live radio show SANDLI PAIDAIN on Radio Desh Punjab and a talk show CHANAN DE VANJARE. In 2000, I started TV show with Mr. Gursharan Buttar named GULDASTA. Then in 2001 me and my husband Aman Brar started our own production as PARVAAS TV .I got a huge response from our community through my show where I was always bringing social, religious ,political and family topics in front of my viewers .I interviewed many Bollywood figures ,singers ,writers ,political figures from India and Canada. As says life goes on , Our TV show ‘AAGAAZ’ is now broadcasted  on  national channel on vision tv every Saturday from 1:30-2:00pm (mountain time).my husband  Aman Brar is the producer of ‘Aagaaz’ me & my son are the hosts of  ‘Aagaaz’. Spice 102.1`fm is a new addition in my profile. I host Deepshikha live(talk shows) every Wednesday and hard talk (interviews or panel discussions every Friday from 7-8 pm (mt).on my talk shows

i always bring topics on current & burning issues  & socio-cultural, economical ,political & family issues. on hard talk i invite political personalities, singers, actors or our social icons. For panel discussions i randomly invite  people from our community according to the topic I always try my best through my TV & radio shows to discuss our matters openly for a dream of a better
