Biography:
Surinder Gill, known as Surinder Geet in literally fields was born and raised in India. She holds B.Sc.(Hons) degree from Punjab University Chandigarh (India)
Surinder started taking part in poem recitations and debates right from her school times. She won many awards during her school and college times.
She migrated to Canada in 1974.
She authored four strong poetry books.

2. Sun Ne Jinde (Poetry)
3. Chand Sitare Mere Ve Ne (Poetry)
4. Moh Dian Chhallan (Ghazals)
Since 1981 she is working with Municipal Government Of Calgary. She served in various departments such as Data Processing, Supply Management, Property Tax, Transit (Planning), Calgary Police Services (Administration) and at present she is with Water Services Dept. of City of Calgary.
Her keen interest in Poetry encouraged her to host program Lafzan Di Dargah which is tatally a literally program promoting Punjabi language, Punjabi literature and Punjabi culture.
